50 plus group

THE 50+ group is still going strong and have had regular meetings and trips out over the last few months. In November, they had a trip to Abbey Cwm Hir which was decorated for the festive season and included a tour around the house and lunch. Member said they had a wonderful time. On 9 December, they had their Christmas lunch in the Marine Hotel, shared with Age Cymru (pictured). The day finished with some carol singing. Forthcoming events in January include a Stroke UK presentation from Nicola Ward and a visit from the Neighbourhood Inspector from the Police, who will be holding a general discussion on what PCSO’s role in the community is. More to be arranged in 2015.
