Ceredigion writer Jackie Biggs is a special guest at an international online event, discussing her latest book of poetry which was inspired by Cardigan Bay.

Before We Breathe forms part of the Pilsnerpoesi/P&P event, hosted jointly on Zoom by Carmarthenshire based community arts company Write4Word and Litteraturcentrum in Sweden at 6pm on Monday, 3 May.

Open mic spots are also available at this gathering.

The poems are inspired by the beaches and coastline of west Wales and Jackie’s love of sea swimming, plus, among other things, dolphins, jellyfish, caves and cliffs, and ancient stories and legends of the region, including tales from Cantre’r Gwaelod and the Witches Cauldron.
