POLICE have called for the public to report any suspicions of illegal drug activity, after they seized 1,500 tablets in Aberystwyth yesterday.

Dyfed-Powys Police seized 1,500 Diazepam tablets after carrying out a drugs warrant at an address in Chalybeate Street, Aberystwyth.

A police spokesperson said afterwards: “Today we took 1500 illegal Diazepam tablets off the streets of Aberystwyth after carrying out a drugs warrant at an address in Chalybeate Street, Aberystwyth.

“We rely on our communities to tell us about those people they suspect to be involved in drug misuse and when we can corroborate that information we act.
