GOLFERS in Porthmadog have raised over £1,700 for the Wales Air Ambulance.

Mary Williams, Porthmadog Golf Club’s Lady Captain for the 2017/18 season is pictured here at the Wales Air Ambulance headquarters at Dinas Dinlle earlier this month presenting a cheque to some of the staff.

Mary chose the Wales Air Ambulance as her official charity as well as Alzheimer’s Society Cymru, during her year as Lady Captain at the golf club, she held many events such as auctions and competitions.

She presented a cheque to the value of £1755.99 to the charity with more donations still being received.
