A LAMPETER woman has received her MBE for services to young people through GirlGuiding Ceredigion and Wales.

Judith Walters, of Lynwood, Llanwnnen Road, attended an Investiture Ceremony at Windsor Castle, where she recieved an MBE.

The ceremony was conducted by Princess Anne.

Mrs Walters was accompanied by her husband, Selwyn, and children, Hafina and Bryn.
