Madam,

So, Dinah Mulholland thinks that the Aberaeron Carnival Committee is racist for allowing the float based on the Cool Runnings film of a Jamaican bobsleigh team at the Olympic Games to take part in the parade on Bank Holiday Monday, and no doubt thinks that everyone who witnessed and enjoyed watching the float is also racist.

I don’t know whether I have missed something but I thought that Jamaicans were supposed to be black.

Does Ms Mulholland think that they should have been coloured green or purple?

Her puerile complaint against the carnival committee is beneath contempt and should be ignored.
