A road in Gwynedd has been closed following an accident earlier today.

North Wales Police (NWP) have announced the closure of a section of the A499 on social media.

A spokesperson for NWP said the A499 between Penrhos and Llanbedrog is closed due to an road traffic accident.

It "will be closed for some time," the spokesperson added.
