SANTA Claus will be swapping his reindeer for a pickup truck and returning to town and the villages around Aberystwyth this Christmas.

Joe Wilcox from Light ‘Em Up has confirmed that he will be bring the popular Santa float back to the villages around Aberystwyth next month.

Last year’s event proved a hit with youngsters from villages across north Ceredigion, from Borth, Talybont and Bow Street, to Llanbadarn and Penparcau.

Joe said on his company. Light ‘Em Up’s Facebook page: “We enjoyed it so much last year- bringing joy to you all, we couldn’t resist but convince Santa and the elves to come with us again this year.

“We aim to visit more areas this year too, so if you could comment where you live we will try our best to make sure the big man in red visits you in your village.”

Dates and times are to be confirmed, but parents are advised to keep an eye on the Facebook page for updates.

Santa is also looking for sponsorship to help buy treats for local children and is appealing for any local businesses that could help to contact him via the Light ‘Em Up Faceook page.

Santa will also be collecting for charity this year and again the team are keen for suggestions.
