SEVEN cows have died after a collision with two cars on a busy road to Nefyn.

At 11.45pm on Friday, 27 November a North Wales Police patrol car came across two cars which had been involved in a collision along the A497 towards Nefyn.

The cars involved in the crash were a silver Volkswagen Passat and a Black Ford Fiesta.

One man was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by ambulance with minor injuries.

Six cows were killed instantly in the collision and a vet was asked to attend to put another one to sleep.

The road was closed as the animals were removed by the owner.

An investigation is on-going and North Wales Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information to contact them on 101, quoting RC15181881.
