Madam,

The article describing the shortlisting of 4th century church Eglwys St Tanwg for a possible £500 prize is very good news for the area.

Unfortunately the pictures printed in the paper are of the Victorian church in Harlech (also well worth a visit).

The ancient church trapped in the sand dunes at Llandanwg dates back to the earliest days of Christianity arriving in Britain. The atmosphere within its solid stone walls is calming and uplifting whatever your beliefs.
