THE Snowdonia National Park Authority has appointed new employees.
Hannah Blythyn, minister for the environment, has confirmed the new recruits.
The newly appointed members are Elinor Gwynn and Neil Martinson, who have both been awarded contracts with the Snowdonia National Park Authority until 31 May 2022.
Ms Blythun has also reappointed Ceri Stradling to the authority until 31 May 2022.
Members of all of the national park authorities are paid £3,625 per annum, reflecting a time commitment of four days per month.
Ms Blythyn said: “Our national parks are very special to the people of Wales and the thousands of people who visit them each year.
“The new appointments will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the management of our national park authorities.
“I look forward to the members’ continued contribution in their effective stewardship.”
The board of Snowdonia National Park Authority must be 18 members in total, with 12 of those appointed by local authorities and six appointed by Welsh ministers.
