JUST over 2,000 people visited Cardigan Castle Christmas Fair on Saturday – making it the most popular event the castle has put on since it opened in April.
More than 70 stands were selling festive wares in every square inch of the pavilion, Castle Green House and the stables.
Sion Corn and his elf helper dealt with queues of excited youngsters as stallholders did brisk trade.
The fair was officially opened by Cardigan rugby captain Llyr Griffiths helped by town mayor Cllr John Adams-Lewis who was doubling up as a helper on the Aberteifi-Patagonia twinning stall.
Fair organiser Michelle Thomas said she was delighted with the response from visitors and stallholders alike.
