A SUMMER pantomime has raised thousands of pounds for Wales Air Ambulance.
The Springfield Street Productions summer pantomime Treasure Island, hosted in Barmouth’s Dragon Theatre, made a profit of £2,000 which will be donated to the helicopter charity.
The show ran throughout August using an array of local talent and was hailed as a great success.
Ed Penney, the driving force behind the project, said: “Many thanks to the cast, crew and everyone who helped in any way with the production.
"Not least the audiences for attending in great numbers.
The Dolgellau playwright added: “Hopefully we will do another summer panto next year!”
