This sort of discrimination should be a thing of the past

Madam,

I was very surprised to read about the reaction by Penweddig school staff to the ‘boys in dresses’.

Girls also dressed as boys so this is discrimination.

What message is this giving to boys who feel they are women trapped in men’s bodies. What message does it give to men who want to dress as women.

In these more enlightened times I would have hoped that this sort of discrimination was a thing of the past.
