Walking club

THE NEXT walk is scheduled for 23 April and is called Trawsgoed / Llanafan Circular (organised for the group by Devil’s Bridge walking club) and the leader is Robert Davies (01970 890208). This walk begins from the Black Covert Car Park, Trawsgoed (SN667728), the route takes a riverside path alongside the River Ystwyth, then through areas of forest before crossing the river and circling back to Llanafan. The return is on paths taking us past the 17th century country house of Trawsgoed mansion, formerly the seat of the Earl of Lisburne. The walk is graded a grade A easy walk which should last approximately three hours and is over a distance of six miles with a little attent.The meeting point is at 12.15pm at the Black Covert Car Park, Trawsgoed.
