TREGARON playground has reopened after safety measures were installed by the town council.

The town’s park will be open to a maximum of 15 people at a time of four families after safety notices and hand sanitisers were installed by Tregaron Town Council.

In a statement, the town council said: “Good news - the park is now open.

“Please use it safely and sensibly and keep to the rules and regulations.”

Parks and playgrounds across Ceredigion are largely the responsibility of town and community councils.

Playgrounds have been opened in places such as Llandre, but Aberystwyth Town Council announced last week that it is aiming to re-open parks in the town and Penparcau this month, once safety works had been carried out.
