THREE indomitable athletes with a collective age of nearly 200 are tackling a triathlon this month.

Glynis Archer, Gwen Thomas and Gail Edgley and are currently training hard for the Harlech Triathlon which is on Sunday, 25 March.

The triathlon will see the trio swim, run and cycle through the stunning Meirionnydd scenery before ‘storming the castle’ in an exciting finale.

The team’s combined age is 189, but they are “fearless in their determination to complete the course” and will use the event to raise money for Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife.
