With reference to the article about near misses in Llanon (‘Warning after series of near-misses’, Cambrian News, 7 September.)

As far as I can remember this village has always had a real problem with traffic, caused mainly by the failings of the Wales Trunk Road Agency. Coming from Aberaeron it is a nightmare to go through the village because of vehicles parked on the side of the road heading north.

You attempt to overtake them, but nine times out of 10 you are in the path of the oncoming traffic as you cannot see it.

Remember this is a trunk road. Surely it is time not to kick the can further down the road but to address the issue? Come on Trunk Road Agency, get your yellow paint out.
