A VETERAN Llanybydder-based photographer has been awarded a grant from the Arts Council of Wales to produce new work in Wales examining its social and historical landscape.

The new work of Dr Pete Davis will build on many of the themes and ideas that have been at the core of his long career.

Using the medium of large format landscape photography Pete will be photographing in both urban and rural environments dealing with notions of social and historical changes to the Welsh landscape, history and society.

This work — representing every period of Pete’s working life and images from every major project he has undertaken — will be exhibited a major retrospective exhibition at the National Library of Wales next March.
