On a day when the UK government was promising more and more energy from renewables and less and less from fossil fuels, what happens?

Mother Nature shows who is really in charge! High pressure builds on a glorious day... and UK wind energy drops to a mere 880 MW at 9.55pm on 22 April (see gridwatch.templar.co.uk).

Since the UK needs 55,000MW for current normal peak usage, where on Earth will all the electricity come from?
