ABERYSTWYTH Town manager Neville Powell has moved quickly to strengthen his squad in the January transfer window, with the signing of attacking midfielder Tom Owens.The 26 year-old hails from Liverpool, scored three goals from nine appearances for Radcliffe in 2017/8, and also gained three Man of the Match nominations.

He has previously played with Preston North End and FC London, before moving to America, where he played for Michigan Bucks.

Owens currently coaches with Liverpool FC International Academy, and has a Master of Communications from Quincy University.

Aberystwyth Town FC are awaiting international clearance for Owens, and hope he will be able to join the squad for Saturday’s match at Cardiff Met.
