FORMER Aberystwyth Town striker Tom Bradshaw has been named in Chris Coleman’s Wales squad for the friendly against Netherlands on Friday, 13 November at at Cardiff City Stadium..
The 23-year-old Walsall striker, who hails from Tywyn, is the Saddlers’ leading scorer this season with nine league goals, having joined the club from League One rivals Shrewsbury Town in 2014.
Having come through the Aberystwyth Town Academy, Bradshaw made his senior debut for the Seasiders as a 16 year old in 2009 and also played in Welsh Cup Final defeat against Bangor that season. The striker was signed by Shrewsbury in 2009 and Aberystwyth were awarded £30,000 training compensation following FIFA intervention. During his time with Shrewsbury Town he scored 17 goals in 98 appearances.
He scored on his Wales U21 debut away in Montenegro and won a total of eight caps at U21s level.
