ABERYSTWYTH University Reserves made it four wins from five in the Cambrian Tyres Aberystwyth and District League division one as they registered a 4-0 home win over Bow Street Reserves at Blaendolau Fields.

Ynyr James opened the scoring for the students, and Carwyn Eckley doubled their lead, before further efforts from Henry Nicholson and Gytis Pivnickas sealed a well-deserved win.

Tregaron Turfs meanwhile recorded their second league win of the campaign with a welcome 5-2 home success against Machynlleth Reserves.

Dylan Davies led the way with a well-taken hat-trick, and there were further goals from Ifan Jones and Guto Roberts as winless Mach slipped to a ninth successive league defeat.

In the only match to go ahead in division two, goals from Bradley Dowse, Ben Hall, Ryan Hughes and Chris Wylde earned Talybont Reserves a 4-1 win at Aberdyfi Reserves, with Dylan Williams replying for the hosts.
