PENRHYNDEUDRAETH have stepped up their search for a new manager after Andrew ‘Junior’ Jones stepped down from the Lock Stock Welsh Alliance outfit.

Jones had re-joined the Club in November following Mike Foster’s resignation, and helped steer the side to the Cookson Cup Final and secure another top six finish in Alliance Division One.

“It is with great reluctance that we announce that Andrew ‘Junior’ Jones has decided not to remain as manager,” said a Club statement.

“We’d like to thank Junior for all his time and efforts since rejoining the Club.

“Following Andrew’s decision to step down, CPD Penrhyndeudraeth is actively seeking a new manager.

“The Club would like to appoint a new manager or management team as soon as possible, and previous experience of managing or coaching at Welsh Alliance League level, or higher, would be an advantage, although it is not essential.”
