BALA took the spoils as they registered a hard fought 13-12 home win over Dolgellau in Division One North last weekend.

These two evenly matched sides produced another nail-biting derby encounter on a wet and windy Maes Gwyniad. Dolgellau can only blame themselves for not claiming a much needed win, as they dominated possession during a second half siege in the Bala half.

But the home side, to their credit, despite mis-firing for most of the match, kept their poise during critical stages and held on to keep their 100% home league record intact.
