It is a considerable credit to the new ground Ccmmittee that both Bodegroes pitches were playable given the constant downpours leading up to the games, writes Will Martin.

Pwllheli 24 Mold 19, Admiral National League One North

Pwllheli Seconds’ fixture away against Colwyn Bay was postponed as Bay’s pitch was waterlogged.

With Pwllheli’s first fifteen having enforced changes they did well to match the intensity of their opposition and it was good to have club captain Jac Jones back in the front row.

And he did his team proud by scoring two of their three tries, the third scored by veteran stalwart John Pugh.

Pugh also had to stand in as kicker and kicked the conversion for all three tries as well as adding a penalty.

Mold raised the game and scored two converted tries in response.

Pwllheli Youths 5 Llangefni Youths 19

The home side knew they were in for a tough challenge as Llangefni are doing well in the league.

The visitors were worthy winners with three well taken tries two of which they converted.

At present there are no scheduled fixtures arranged for any of the club’s sides this coming weekend. Check the club social channels for updates.
