Aberaeron and District Poppy Appeal
THE POPPY organisers would like to thank everyone who contributed to the appeal, during which £6,851.93 was collected. Without your help the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal would be unable to continue their vital welfare and benevolent work.

THE DECEMBER meeting was held at the British Legion Hall and began with business and correspondence chaired by the president, Eleanor Evans. As the branch’s delegate at the Ceredigion Annual Council Meeting on 7 November, Jacqui Thomas gave a brief synopsis of the day’s events. The competition for December was to say what was your favourite Christmas tree bauble and why.It was judged by Val Edwards and won by Chris Williams with Ann Jackson second. Ann also won the raffle. This was followed by tea with mince pies and a chat, provided by Neris Lloyd, Margaret Morgan, Ann Taylor, Jacqui Thomas and Sylvia Williams. The next meeting will be on 6 January at 7pm at the British Legion Hall.
