The privately-funded project encompassing a 250-seat wedding/conference hall along with a 50-seater restaurant and 26-bedroomed hotel is the brainchild of the Thomas family, of Cilgwgan farm.
William and Heather Thomas are well-known figures in the area who own the New Celtic and The Cellar restaurants in Aberaeron.
No government or council funding is being used for the undertaking, which is due to be completed early in 2019.
The planning application put forward by Morgan and Davies Estate Agents was drawn up by architect Byron Jenkins and ER Hughes Agricultural Consultants.
Rhys ap Dylan, a spokesman for Morgan and Davies, revealed that news of the successful planning application had been viewed by over 30,000 people within 24 hours of it being posted on Facebook.
