IT WAS the end of an era in Tregaron on Tuesday of last week when the town’s branch of NatWest closed its doors for the last time.

When the closure was announced in August, county councillor Catherine Hughes described it as “a hugely disappointing blow”.

The move follows NatWest’s decision to close its Llandysul and New Quay branches last year and Aberaeron earlier this month.
