A special evening was held at the Porth Hotel, Llandysul, when the Llandysul and Pontweli Carnival Committee shared out the proceeds of last summer’s carnival, which this year reached £2,430.

The chairperson, Meinir Davies, thanked all the organisations and individuals for working so hard to raise such a sum.

Presidents Karen and Adrian Thomas made the presentations alongside vice-presidents Cllr Peter and Bethan Evans.

£50 was also donated to Prengwyn Show; £50 to Capel y Graig and £30 to Clwb Croeso.
