Church services

SUNDAY, 16 December – Llandysul: 8am, Cymun; 11am, Communion; 5pm, Carol service and mulled wine and mince pies.

Llangeler: 3.30pm, Carol service.

Coffee morning

TUESDAY, 1 January - coffee morning at the church hall from 10am till 11am.

Christmas fayre

ON a dry evening the community enjoyed the Christmas shopping at the village, with pupils of Bro Teifi entertaining with the orchestra and the hall full of stalls.

Father Christmas visited the hall and the children also participated in the craft session; arts 5 wellbeing were set up in the old HSBC bank, with an upside down tree and memories of Llandysul, with Bradford house with a video of Llandysul in the past, which was very interesting.

The lights were turned on by Sali Mali by the old Barclays bank and Tregroes choir singing in the Tysul hall. To end the evening the Welsh Whisperer was singing in the Porth Hotel with the donations being given to the flood victims.

Clwb Hanes

A FILM was enjoyed by all at the Tysul hall on Wednesday, 28 November with popcorn, with the film provided by Ivor Thomas.

The next meeting will be the Christmas dinner at the Porth on Wednesday, 12 December.

Coffee evening

AN enjoyable and sociable evening was held at the church hall on Thursday, 29 November and it was nice to see so many present.

Half Moon

IT was the carol singing on Sunday, 2 December and it was nice to see the pub open once again after the floods.

It was a special event in memory of Lynda Richards and the accompanist was Martin Griffiths with Adrian Thomas the conductor.

Sunday, 16 December - Santa fun run and fancy dress and it will be open on Christmas eve.

Open on Christmas day from 11am to 1pm and on New Year’s day there will be a special bingo for Calon Tysul at 6pm, with pizza.
