Church
FOLLOWING the family service on Sunday, 3 September, an enjoyable picnic was held at the church hall, despite the rain that prevented it being held in the park.

SUNDAY, 17 September – Llandysul: 8am, Communion; 11am, Boreol Weddi.
Llangynllo: 9.30am.
Wednesday: 10.30am, Communion.
Merched Cylch Clettwr
THIS month the members went to Capel Cynon school for pottery and to paint their own item, which everyone enjoyed.
To end the evening they had a meal at the Ffostrasol Arms, thanks to all who came along.
Sioe Llandysul
O’R diwedd fe gawsom ddiwrnod tesog ar 2 Medi, a braf oedd gweld sioe lwyddiannus a hwylus arall, gyda phawb yn mwynhau gweld y cystadlu a’r stondinau.
Diolch i bawb fu’n gweithio’n galed gyda’r paratoi.
The presidents were Betty Rees and Geraint Davies, Beddgeraint.
They were thanked for their valued contribution to the show over the years, as well as their hard work and for their very generous contribution.
Ar y teledu
BRAF iawn oedd gweld Bryn Fôn at y teledu o Sioe Llandysul ar y nos Lun yn dilyn y sioe, ynghyd â’i ffrindiau sydd wedi gweithio’n galed ar hyd y blynyddoedd i sicrhau llwyddiant i’r noson arbennig yn dilyn y sioe.
Tractor Run
EARLIER this year, Wyn Thomas of Erwlon, together with his family and friends, organised a sponsored tractor run along the lanes of South Ceredigion, finishing at Cwmrhydneuadd Golf Club, near Llangrannog. As a result of this tractor run £1,150 was raised for the Marie Curie charity.
Wyn is extremely grateful to everyone who supported this event.
Cerddwyr dydd Mawrth
AN enjoyable walk was held on Tuesday from Saron to the Woollen Mill at Drefach, ending with refreshments at the café and everyone enjoying the chat afterwards.
The new programme has been sorted, with the walks always beginning at the car park in Llandsyul at 10.30am.
19 September: Newcastle Emlyn by cars and lunch; 26 September: Railway, Pontwelly; 3 October: Cross Hands by cars and lunch; 10 October: Abercerdin; 17 October: Farmyard and Llanfihangel ar Arth by bus.
Cancer concert
THIS will be held at the Tysul hall on Saturday, 7 October, at 7.15pm, in the company of Bois y Castell.
