A LLANDYSUL farmer accused of failing to comply with animal health regulations will face a trial after pleading not guilty to two charges.
Dylan Ceredig Evans, of Tir Blaenant, Glynarthen, has denied a charge of failing to comply with an animal by-product requirement between 30 May and 5 June at Sarnau, and also entered a not guilty plea to causing unnecessary suffering to a ram between 12 May and 5 June at Pantygronw Farm, Glynarthen.
Evans entered guilty pleas to three charges of failing to comply with an animal by-product requirement, four charges of failing to ensure the welfare of an animal, and a charge of failing to notify the authorities of the movement of animals.
Evans, 41, will stand trial on 1 February at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court. He will be sentenced on the charges he’s entered guilty pleas to following the outcome of the trial.
