Jenard

A SPECIAL evening will be held at the Porth Hotel on Friday, 29 April, when Jenard, the country singer-songwriters, will have a launch party for their debut album. Admission is £5 with the proceeds going to Cancer Research Wales.

THE NEXT meeting will be at Neuadd Tysul Hall on Wednesday, 27 April, at 7.15pm.The title is ‘Wife to moor to lift turf: The daily lives of an elderly Ceredigion couple at the end of the 18th century’ with Michael Freeman.The following change has been made to the programme: Prof Nigel Nayling, who was due to speak this month, will now speak at the September meeting on ‘Maritime Archaeology – Home and Away’. Everyone is welcome.There is an annual subscription of £13pa (£11 concessions), but non-members are welcome to pay £3 per meeting.
