PLAYING Field – The play tower has been erected. Cllr C Jones asked the contractor to level out the floor area – this has been done. Cllr G Davies replaced the damaged cradle swing.Discussions took place about erecting a fence around the children’s play area because there is concern that some dog owners are allowing their dogs to run off the lead on the playing field despite notices saying ‘No dogs allowed’. Cllr J Evans will make enquiries about the cost of fencing. The clerk has contacted ROSPA to carry out the annual inspection.Beach Car Park – Cllr J Evans had made enquiries and the highways department has been asked to clear the car park of the stones.Minutes of the Development Control Committee – 9 March 2016:Received – A160187, variation to plan-ning consent for plots 1-5 Cae’r Felin, Llanrhystud. No observations. Permission was given to add Llanrhystud playing field to the interactive map on the county council’s website.Thank you letters for grants were received from: Cylch Meithrin Glan y Môr, Llanddeiniol YFC, Llanddeiniol Church, Llanrhystud Memorial Hall.Welsh Government – The Local Authority (Model Code of Conduct) (Wales) (Amendment) Order – the section relevant to community councils was noted. Shared Future – Statutory Guidance for Well-Being of Future Generations(Wales)Act 2015 – section relevant to community councils was noted.Matters raised by the community: A complaint had been received from Llanrhystud Football Club that some individuals allow their dogs to run off the lead on playing areas. The clerk warns that dogs are not allowed in the playing field.The clerk was asked to write to the Highways Department to remind them of the requests made to have a pedestrian crossing on the A487 and to install the flashing school warning lights near the ford.Cllr G Davies to arrange the annual get together for 22 April at Pengarreg.Date of the next meeting and the Annual General Meeting – 4 May at 8pm.
