I read in the Cambrian News (12 November) that the ‘safe zone’ in Aberaeron will continue unchanged until the new year. Not in the other three designated towns, I note.

May we have an assurance from the county council that, post this date, all extended pavements will be removed?

Having run two enterprises in the town over many years (Lloyd Motors and Compton House), I am at a loss to witness what has happened to our dear town. Disaster.

I well remember objections to window replacements being an issue! Quite trivial, as opposed to present climes.

As two very influential people within the county, both having championed the schemes, I invite Clr Ellen ap Gwynn and Clr Elizabeth Evans to respond.
