A SPECIAL captain’s day was organised by Borth & Ynyslas Golf Club captain Jane Miller for members, family and guests.

With many of the club’s away members down for the summer, it was an opportunity for a group of people who learnt to play golf together, to enjoy each other’s company once again.

The day’s competition was a Stableford with the conditions quite challenging with a strong breeze.

Refreshments were provided at Dormie off the 6th green and donations received on the day raised over £1,000 towards the captains chosen charity STOPMS.
